Honeymoon Adventure Photography

This is it. You found the love of your life and a brand new chapter of your adventure together is beginning. After the whirlwind of planning your wedding or elopement, your honeymoon is a perfect time to reconnect as a couple without the pressure of acting as a logistics specialist and hostess to tons of close friends and family. Honeymoons are an amazing investment in your relationship and one of the highlights of your love story. honeymoon, honeymoon adventure photographer, honeymoon photography, honeymoon photographer, adventure photography

A honeymoon allows you to focus on each other without distraction and enjoy all that life has to offer before the realities of work and responsibilities of buying a home or figuring out who’s going to do the dishes and who’s going to cook set in. Of all the gorgeous and exciting trips in your life, your honeymoon is easily at the top. And, instead of lugging around a point and shoot camera and handing it to random people on the street so you can both be in photos together, you should trust a professional to capture those first days as a married couple.

As an avid, lifelong traveler, I have a deep-seated passion for exotic spots – both near and far. My background in landscape photography allows me to perfectly capture your surroundings and immortalize the excitement of your first married moments. Honeymoon photography is more candid and less structured than traditional engagement or wedding photography; it’s all about the two of you exploring together and those little moments, glances and gestures that make up your unique language of admiration and intimacy.

Honeymoon packages are completely customizable and created specifically for you and your adventure. Rates begin at $500 per day which includes one hour of photography in the morning and one hour at sunset to capture whatever activity or adventure you two decide on. The options are limitless: we can road trip around New Zealand or Iceland or roam exotic city streets stopping at every food cart you can find.

For me, photography is an investment in relationships and I approach the couples who choose me as friends I just haven’t met yet. So, the more time we spend together and the more we do together, the closer we become. You can have me around as much or as little as you’d like throughout the day – it’s entirely up to you. And, best of all, honeymoon images are processed and delivered to you within 24 hours so you can share them in real time and relive each day’s adventure.

Adventure destination photography definitely isn’t limited to couples who were recently married. A ‘honeymoon’ experience can also be a wonderful choice for couples planning an anniversary trip or an annual exploration. Maybe you’re finally planning that once in a lifetime cruise along the Norwegian fjords or that two week safari in Africa you’ve always dreamed of experiencing together. Don’t arrive at the destination of your dreams and realize you’ll have to rely on the lame cruise ship pictures you take before dinner to remember this milestone in your relationship.

Weddings are wonderful but the intimacy of your adventures together cannot be overstated. Nothing brings two people together more than leaving everything familiar behind and navigating a brand new world with only each other to rely on – free from distractions and schedules and the demands of the real world. Hiring a Honeymoon photographer to document your days together on this journey allows you a rare chance to see yourselves in all your glory and remember everything from the grandeur of the wild Scottish Highlands to the moment he reached for your hand in the little roadside cottage you stopped at to escape the afternoon downpour. All of these textures layer together to form the canvas that the rest of your lives will be painted across. Don’t lose the mountaintops or the moments in between. Reach out to start planning your destination adventure.

Melody is a full-time nomad who calls an RV home while roaming all over the western US and beyond for couple’s adventure photography in the wilds of nature. Her style is cinematic, romantic and richly colored and she believes that the beauty and chaos of nature, with its twisting paths, coarse landscapes and breath-taking wonder is a poignant analogy for relationships. The Pacific Northwest will always hold a special place in her heart but, life is short and the world is wide so check out the travel schedule to follow along with her adventures.
